Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
GK AI is operated by Fancy by Nature Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act.
2. What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, login details and which plan or pass you have. These come from our sign-in provider (Clerk) when you sign up.
Payment details: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We see that a payment was made, not your full card number.
What you type into tools and the results GK AI creates. On Emperor, results are saved to your History, and your saved brand voice is stored so tools can use it.
Waitlist: if you join the waitlist before launch, your email address and the date you joined. We use it only to email you about GK AI's launch and your early-access bonus. Unsubscribe or ask us to delete it any time.
Usage data: how many credits and runs you've used, and basic technical logs (such as errors and timestamps) that keep the service working and secure.
3. How we use it
To run GK AI: log you in, check your plan, create your results, count your credits and limits, and save History and brand voice if your plan includes them.
To keep it safe and working: prevent abuse, fix bugs and plan capacity.
To contact you about your account, billing or important changes. Marketing emails only if you've agreed, and you can unsubscribe any time.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your inputs or results to train our own AI models.
4. Who we share it with
AI providers: to create a result, the text you enter and the tool's instructions are sent through OpenRouter to the AI model provider for that tool (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). These providers process it to generate your answer under their own terms.
Hosting and infrastructure: our app is hosted on Vercel, with usage data, History and brand voice stored in a database run for us. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
Payments: Stripe handles billing, receipts and card details.
Some of these providers are outside Canada, mainly in the United States, so your information may be processed there and be subject to those countries' laws.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
5. How long we keep it
Account details: for as long as you have an account, then as needed for legal and tax records.
History: your most recent 200 results, until you delete them or close your account.
Brand voice: until you remove it or close your account.
Usage counters reset monthly or daily and expire automatically. Technical logs are kept for a short period.
6. Your choices and rights
You can delete individual results or all History, and remove your brand voice, at any time inside GK AI.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing support@genghiskhan.io. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including to object to processing and to data portability. We process your information to provide the service you signed up for (contract) and to keep it secure (legitimate interests).
Our Privacy Officer is responsible for this policy and can be reached at support@genghiskhan.io. If a data breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, we'll notify you and the regulators as the law requires.
If you're not happy with how we handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Security
Cookies: we use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and to run checkout. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use encrypted connections, secure login tokens and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't enter highly sensitive information (such as government ID numbers, passwords or health records) into tools.
8. Children
GK AI is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
